MERRY CHRISTMASElizabeth B.Elizabeth B.182008-12-12T06:16:00Z2008-12-12T06:24:00Z13692106174247111.5604MERRY CHRISTMASFROMELIZABETHTOWNOK. So this message is not really from Elizabethtown. I just wrote that to make this letter more amusing. Did it work? Only you can answer that. Anyway, I have created this website to impress you with a new way to send you a Christmas greeting….and to get you up to speed on what’s been happening in my life. If I had children, here’s where I would be telling you all the details about how their lives are shaping up. But since it’s only me, you get to read all about MOI. (I speak a word or two of French.)I have gotten a new digital SLR camera, plus a couple of lenses and a copy of Photoshop software that I have been going nuts learning. Boy! Is there a lot to learn with photography. And now that I don’t have to buy film and spend money on processing, etc. I feel like I am free to really explore all of my creative urges to the max. So I have been checking out every book in the library on photography and Photoshop and reading..reading...reading. I have also taken a few trips up into the mountains to get some good shots. I’ll be sharing a few of them with you if I can ever figure out how to do that with this website. So there ya go. My life has been 100% photography, plus having a little fun partying with a new singles group...so I guess that would make it 95% photography and 5% having a little fun. I never was the best in math, but I think I’ve got that correct. Before I include a couple of my favorite shots to share with you, I’ll just say that I hope you will have a joyous Christmas or whatever it is you celebrate at this time of year. The world seems to be a mess right now….but I figure we’ve got a lot of work to do to get this planet back on its feet...so we might as well forget about complaining and do something….take some action...or say a few prayers to help out. That’s another thing I’m trying to do in my life...so now we’ve got 85% photography….5% having a little fun...and 10% prayers and volunteering to make this a better world. I’m sure glad I’m writing this letter so I can take a look at what my life has been about and I can decide if I like what I see. So thanks for letting me share all of this because without You this letter wouldn’t exist and I’d probably be taking a nap right now instead of doing something constructive. LOVE and KISSES and BLESSINGS and HAPPINESS and FUN and JOY to you this holiday season and for as long as you want these things to be around.ELIZABETH
